Christine received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana in 1990. After working with children and adolescents in a variety of psychiatric settings for five years, she decided to pursue a graduate degree in speech-language pathology. Christine received a Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota in 1998. She has 25 years of experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings including private practice, public schools, and skilled nursing facilities.


Christine has a special interest in Early Intervention, tethered oral tissues (tongue and lip tie), spelling and reading impairment, and voice and voice disorders. She has earned seven Awards for Continuing Education (ACE) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Christine has been active in the Peoria Area Speech-Language-Hearing Association (PASHA) and received the Honors of the Association in 2004. She has held several offices including president and currently serves as PASHA’s Treasurer. Christine has also served as Convention Coordinator for the Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA) and currently serves on ISHA’s Early Intervention Committee.


Christine sings with the Bradley Community Chorus and the Peoria Bach Festival Choir and is a frequent soloist and ensemble singer at Willow Hill United Methodist Church. Christine and her husband, Scott, have three daughters and live in Germantown Hills.
