Serving patients since 1986, Speech and Language Rehabilitation Service, Ltd. features a staff of full- and part-time speech-language pathologists who have earned master’s degrees and are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). All are licensed to practice in the state of Illinois and have the specialty training and/or certification in one or more areas. 

Speech pathologists evaluate and treat the following conditions in children and adults:

• Speech – articulation, apraxia, dysarthria, and stuttering
• Language – delays and receptive-expressive language disorders
• Swallowing – disorders due to developmental delay, disease, or side effects of surgery or chemo-radiation treatments for head and neck cancer
